LG Files against Harier

LG Electronics Inc. said on Thursday it was seeking a court injunction to stop a unit of China's Haier Group from using an air-conditioner brand within South Korea, which it said was its registered trademark.

LG, the world's biggest air-conditioner maker, said the top Chinese home appliance maker has been selling air conditioners under a "2in1" brand, for which it had the right.

Says the Reuters news service. Something funny here. I am suprised that LG ever registered the mark 2IN1. Such a seems descriptve to me, or at least in my trademark experince with KIPO.
